Faith (1x12) is so important as an episode though

Every time I watch Faith, I love it even more. 

• The look of it is amazing. There are some great shots, the colors of the episode are great, there are textures in the set design that are amazing - look at episodes like Dead in the Water, Asylum, and Scarecrow. The look of these episodes set a great tone for the show, but Faith does this even better. 
• there are freckles galore and Dean in a hoodie but that’s neither here nor there
  
• introduces reapers in such an amazing way - the only other time they were done this well was in Abandon All Hope (5x10)
• seriously along with Cas’s entrance, hellhounds, and Death when it comes to introductions, the reaper in this episode was just great
• the themes for the show are set up (previously in Scarecrow the theme of sacrifice is brought to our attention, and this one in addition to sacrifice, the obvious theme is faith, which we see Sam and Dean and Cas struggle with throughout the series)
• “I didn’t choose you Dean. The Lord did.” - Rev. Roy LaGrange

  “You will be, son. You will be.” 
• “I’m not much the praying type. But, I’m gonna pray for you.”
